Post a New Event

The Iraq Moratorium is brought together for a single message: Stop the Iraq War. We understand that there are as many issues as there are people but we ask whatever your issue that you set aside one day a month to concentrate your efforts and resources on Stopping the War in Iraq. With a unified voice, all speaking the same message, we may be able to make a difference in our country's future. On just one day, please wear black. On just one day, please say "Bring Our Troops Home". On just one day, join the voices of millions as they together as one.

Important information before you post

• If you are an established organization, new to the Moratorium, with multiple events, please have a one person contact Patriot before listing your events.
• If your event may gather national attention, PLEASE contact dennisforim as far in advance as possible so that we can prepare.
• It's a good idea to be able to LOGIN to be able to access your event, update it and receive visitor inquiries.
• Demonstrations and protests must be focused on ending the War in Iraq
  • Display posters and banners that say Peace, Bring Our Troops Home, NO WAR, Iraq Moratorium, and etc.
  • Wear Black t-shirts, ribbons, buttons or armbands
• The event may include some of the following:
  • Distribute Iraq Moratorium leaflets, homemade ribbons,
  • Purchase buttons, ribbons and armbands
  • Raise funds for the National Iraq Moratorium Committee (contact Patriot for approval)
  • Other issues can be included, such as (these are only suggestions)
    • Honoring and supporting our troops and veterans
    • Faith
    • Iraqi losses and suffering
    • Abuse of prisoners
    • Government misconduct with regard to Iraq
